Make a Change

You may think that you don't matter, that you're just being put here not to amount to anything. But your very wrong, you were put on Earth for a purpose that only you can fulfill it. You are absolutely fearless and amazing, embrace it! Be a leader, lead followers to do something unimaginable. We're capable of changing the world. We need to come together as a force, and do something about what we want to change in the world.

Seventy-seven percent of kids and teens have admitted that they have been a victim of at least one type of bullying, whether it's physical, emotional or online. Adults can get involved in bullying as much as they want and it will only make little difference. It's us as kids, tweens, and teens that need to stand up and make a change!   I knowing bullying is a big issue, and it can be difficult to directly stand up and say something to a bully or someone else for that matter. But if you don't who will? What if that person you see being bullied is thinking this could be their last day? Its time to make a difference. Don't you agree? Let's all take a step forward, and show support, by wearing BLUE on October 1, 2012. You can also buy the sponsored shirts at any Bonton store or at ww.stompoutbullying.org.

Taking Chances

Maybe your the shy kid, not wanting stand out in any way, shape, or form. But I say be yourself, and stand out from the crowd. Now, I don't know much about about your world but I know that you've seen a chance and missed it. Did you regret it? Life is full of chances, you just have to take one. Taking chances means to face your fears, which can be hard sometimes, but I know you won't regret it. No matter what the turn out, you'll be glad you took a once in a lifetime chance.

Starting high school this year, I know it's just easier to invisible. But is that really you? Maybe it is and that's fine, you be who you are and don't try to be someone else. For me that's not the case, I've always wanted to stand out, but didn't want to stand out in a bad way, if you know what I mean. But as i got older i realized that it wasn't doing me any good to just be invisible. So I started opening up to people, being a little more talkative, taking small steps. Now I can't keep my mouth shut, which kinda makes me stick out as the girl who can't shut up. That's not exactly what I want to be know for but it is what it is. I thought no one was going to like "Miss Talkative", but I actually have more friends than I can count that absolutely love me for who I am. I took the chance that no one would like me, and it turned out in my favor. Now, by no means am I saying everyone loves me, there's always the "haters" in your life and there's nothing you can do to change that.  At least one person isn't going to like what you say or do, it's just the way life works. The people who are against you just make you stronger as you succeed. There are some people who actually liked me better as the quiet girl, that I wish some of them were still my friends but they're not which means they never really were in the first place. So, if your worried your friends won't like you anymore if you take a chance, then I say it's their lost.

Everyone has a dream, taking chances is the only way to achieve. When people tell you you CAN'T, show them you CAN. Live life to the fullest take a least one chance, and see where it takes you.

Believe

Everyone has to be turned down at least one time to be able to succeed in the world. My point being that life's a roller coaster, you have to believe you can power through the downs to be able to go up. Surprise people, show them how powerful your inner strength really is. You can do absolutely anything to change your life or the lives of the people around you if just believe in them and most of all yourself.

We all have different beliefs, when it comes to just about anything. It could be political, cultural, religions and etc. But we all come to together when we believe in one purpose or cause that we need to stand for. For example, I strongly believe that somnething should be done about bullying. Stand up and be heard! Your one voice could inspire millions. Not everyone will agree with you on things, because of their own beliefs. But just because you don't nessarily have support at the moment, doesn't mean to give up. Stand up for what you believe in even your standing alone. Most likely at least one person will hear you along the road and agree. Be careful of the ones that don't, they'll try to change your opinion, but then again you'll try to change theirs. Most importantly believe in yourself, you can do unimaginable things if you just believe you can.  I believe this generation has the power to change the world for the better!
